Studio 342 was hired by a Bellevue family to develop a landscape that creates spaces to entertain, relax, explore, and play at their new Cape Cod style home. An open lawn on the side of the house leads to a wooded hillside, where a hidden “well house” is the source of a children’s play stream. In the backyard, a cascading waterfall flows past several patios. The design incorporates sustainable elements, including using harvested rainwater to supplement the water features and the irrigation.
